Responsible for coordinating the complex solid organ donor transplant (kidney, liver, heart, and lungs) from all Organ Procurement organizations (OPO) to our transplant center. Reviewed extensive donor’s medical and social history and discussed with the transplant surgeons. Evaluate transplant candidates’ eligibility for transplant. Coordinated the organ procurement with the surgeons, the OR staff, the OPOs, laboratory personnel, nursing service, and all the transplant team members.
